After entering KHNURE, students will have to decide on a sports section. Let’s talk about some of them.
WEIGHTLIFTING
Classes are held in KNURE's own gym, located in the courtyard of the 1st hostel (a couple of minutes from the main building). Each practice consists of a set program of exercises for the development of different muscle groups. The increase in load is gradual, so you should not worry. Many of our students receive sports categories, and effectively participate in competitions.
One of our female students says: "At first, I was worried that it would be too difficult for a girl, but the coaches and other students were very helpful. They made the practices very interesting and safe. And as a bonus, I got in a really good shape."
BADMINTON
As a child, you played badminton with your friends, hardly thinking about how to hold a racket and throw a shuttlecock. At badminton you will learn about all the subtleties and learn to play in a professional manner.
Section student: "I like that everything is taught from scratch here, since I did not have any sports training at all."
AEROBICS / DANCE AEROBICS
Some mistakenly think that aerobics is exclusively a women's section. During the classes, elements of dancing and cheerleading, exercises on fitballs, steppes and other sports equipment are studied. Our university teams regularly win competitions.
Student of the section: "The best about this section is diversity, we learn something new each practice. And thanks to the music I want to train even harder."
BASKETBALL
You think that in order to engage in this sport you must be tall? In KHNURE any student can enroll in a basketball section.
By the way, the university is proud of the women's basketball team that has existed for over 40 years.
Section student: "We had high-quality workouts, heavy loads during leg exercises, and abs. The coaches gave us a powerful overall physical development, and in the second half of the training we played basketball. "
KICKBOXING
In KNURE, students are trained at a high level in the contact martial arts sections, one of them is the kickboxing section.
Section student: "I came here without any experience. The coach taught me how to hit, I lost weight and became much more enduring. He understood the degree of responsibility and taught not only how to punch, but also when to do it. As for the load: it can be challenging at first: a strong workout, jump ropes, 1-2 reps of legs-arms-press."
There are about 20 sports sections in KNURE. So the choice of other equally interesting sports is very large.
Be healthy and athletic!
